The deadline for full enrollment packets is Monday, August 4 at 5 p.m. Please bring your packet along with your child's birth certificate as well as vaccination records. After August 4, we wil be calling families on the waiting list and asking them to submit their full enrollment packets. If you have any questions please call 713-9266 or email

Can you believe it? Only three weeks until The Project School opens its doors! Now for updates.
If you have not turned in your enrollment packet, please bring it to our temporary office at 1236 E. 16th St. before July 31. [Download Now]
We will be sending welcome letters out with preliminary information like: calendars, supply lists, schedules and more at the beginning of August. Many of the details like, exact lunch price, bus stops, and daily routines will be given out durning our open houses. If you cannot attend an open house, please stop by that week and pick up the information.
Here are some important dates: All events are scheduled to be at the school 1145 E. 22nd St.
August 5, 11 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Ribbon Cutting Ceremony - Mayor Ballard in Attendance (TPS Familes Welcome however we cannot give tours on this date) August 13, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Build the Playground Fundraiser - $10 Donation (families) $25 Donation (guests) (Invitations will be sent to guests and TPS families) August 14, 6:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Family Orientation - At the school building 1145 E. 22nd St. (TPS Families we can tour the building on this day) August 16 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Family Orientation - At the school building 1145 E. 22nd St. (TPS Families we can tour the building on this day)

Curricular Summit
Under dark skies and torrential rains, the 1st Annual Curriculum Summit took place at the Harrison Center for the Arts in downtown Indianapolis. Parents, community members, students, and staff all gathered to discuss what they believe are issues students should address through P3 projects. |

On Thursday, June 5 the Bloomington Project School was officially chartered by the Ball State Charter Office. The BPS will open in August of 2009. We extend our heartiest congratulations to the hard working team of founders in B-town. Also note that the founding group of The Project School is comprised of both Indianapolis and Bloomington educators. |
