At The Project School, technology is woven into the fabric of the community. It is our priority to develop 21st Century technology skills, while at the same time developing Habits of the Heart, Mind and Voice. The Project School uses technology to document a more complete picture of student progress. Teachers use on-going assessment, through technology, to capture snapshots of student development. Student performances, such as reading, writing, math and project artifacts, are collected and archived in an e-portfolio. This e-portfolio is used by teachers to confirm progress, or to cite evidence that a student may need to be evaluated.  Families can access their child's reading audio files from any point in the year and listen to their audio files.

Student access to technology is in the form of WOW (the World on Wheels) carts. The mobile carts will bring technology to teachers and students anywhere in the building. Two of the carts will be Creative Arts Stations. The Music Station includes software allowing students to compose, record, produce, listen and share projects that include music. The Art Station includes software that encourages students to create, plan, produce, view and share art projects.

The staff uses "Teaching for Understanding with Technology" as a guide when integrating technology into the curriculum. The Technology Facilitator is available to collaborate, coordinate and integrate the use of technology into the curriculum. It will be his/her responsibility to meet ISTE NETS-Refresh (International Society for Technology in Education, National Education Technology Standards) in the use of technology.
