Degrees and Certifications:
I come to TPS by way of a winding path, as the best paths often are. I live in the woods with my husband and our two young children who will soon be TPS students and we love calling Bloomington home. I did my undergraduate work in English Literature and Gender Studies at Saint Mary's at Notre Dame, Loyola Chicago, and abroad in Rome, Italy. After that, I nannied for several years in California and then again in Indiana while doing my graduate work in Secondary Education. This led me to Fishers, where I worked with 7th grade English students and later with Special Education students at the high school level. Middle school has always held a special place in my heart, so I'm thrilled to be working with the 7/8 team this year. TPS embodies a culture of caring unlike anything I have ever seen that extends from students to staff. I'm beyond grateful to have the opportunity to support connection based, meaningful, world changing education with them.
