    Title 1 Part-Time Instructional Assistant for the 2019-2020 School Year

    This position provides an opportunity to work with experienced, exemplary teachers in a multi-age, project based, and literacy focused environment. The instructional assistant will have experiences and responsibilities with reader's workshop, writer's workshop, various math programs, small group interventions, and project based curriculum. Some available roles are regular classroom assistants, inclusion support, and Title I positions focused on interventions for literacy and math. The Instructional Assistant will serve in supervision, instructional support, and some clerical roles.

    The hours required for this position are as follows:

    Part-time: Monday-Friday of the academic year, 25-29 hours a week between the hours of 7:40 am - 3:45 pm


    A teaching license is preferred for this position. At least two years of college credit is required. Compensation is $10/hour for licensed teachers. The rate for individuals without a teaching license is $9/hour. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of successful employment.
