    2019-2020 INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT POSITION -- Start Date: Late July 2019

    The hours required for this position are as follows:

    Full-time: Monday-Friday of the academic year, 7:40 am - 3:45 pm

    This position provides an opportunity to work with experienced, exemplary teachers in a multi-age, project based, and literacy focused environment. The instructional assistant will have experiences and responsibilities with reader's workshop, writer's workshop, various math programs, small group interventions, and project-based curriculum. Some available roles are regular classroom assistants, inclusion support, and Title I positions focused on interventions for literacy and math. The Instructional Assistant will serve in supervision, instructional support, and some clerical roles.

    A teaching license is preferred for this position. At least two years of college credit is required.

    Compensation is $10/hour for licensed teachers. The rate for individuals without a teaching license is $9/hour. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days of successful employment.
