We are so excited to be almost ready to introduce our new website and smart phone app to you - they are getting their finishing touches this week. Stay tuned!

We are so proud of some of our TPS middle school students for receiving such a fabulous recognition from NPR for their podcast work!

TPS families - an important email with message and brief survey has just hit your in-boxes. We hope that everyone will take a few moments to complete the survey by the end of this week, to share a bit more important feedback to help us develop our re-entry plan. Thank you so much!

We are extremely pleased to share that through an exciting grant, we will have 2 full-time, salaried Teaching Fellowships available for the 2020-2021 academic year. One fellow has been hired, and we are now seeking an outstanding second candidate.
The Project School Fellowship program is a collaborative effort with Indiana University Purdue University (IUPUI) School of Education that is designed for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree in any field and are highly interested and motivated to become a licensed elementary level teacher. This two-year fellowship includes all licensure coursework and an integrated student teaching experience and mentorship from experienced TPS classroom teachers. TPS fellows are full-time TPS employees and thus afforded the same level of benefits, support, professional development opportunities, and administrative services as any other employee. Our fellowship is an opportunity to engage with passionate educators in a fully immersive experience.

On this #Juneteenth - and every day - we dedicate ourselves to ending the systemic and structural racism still embedded in all facets of our society, and to doing our part to create real and lasting liberation, equity and restorative justice for everyone. We are deeply humbled to be part of a learning community committed to this crucial work. We will continue to try to do better every day.

WOW -- Thanks to the generosity of so many, TPS has raised almost $6000 this week to support our families experiencing food insecurity. Our deep gratitude to all our donors!

Our deep appreciation to the Community Foundation for their generous grant of $2500, which will help us continue to provide for TPS families who are struggling with food insecurity during this crisis. It costs $1250/week to support our families who have shared this need with us.
