Good Morning, TPS Families! Our final Sunday Update of the semester has just landed in in-boxes, full of some important reminders as we head into our shortened week together. Please remember that our last day of school for the semester is THURSDAY (there are no classes on Friday). We wish everyone a joyful beginning to winter break!
Great news, TPS families! We have just received word from the MoCo Health Department that we will have a COVID vaccine clinic for TPS students at school on December 14! This will be open to students who have not yet received their first dose, as well as students needing their second dose (as long as enough time has have passed since first dose). We will then hold an additional clinic for second doses after winter break. An email will be sent soon just to families of kiddos who haven’t yet had either first or second dose, with clinic registration and forms. The turnaround time for signing up will be very short, with all forms

Hello TPS Families! A quick note to let you know that the front office will be closed tomorrow (Friday), after the end of dismissal. All staff will be attending a professional development meeting or will be away from the school. If you have post-dismissal needs on Friday, please send an email or give us a call on Monday. Wishing you an enjoyable and safe weekend!
Hello TPS families! The end of the month crept up on us, and we forgot to share a reminder that TPS does not ever celebrate Halloween in any fashion. We ask families to refrain from having kiddos in costumes or with candy on Friday. We know some of our students may be going to the Boys & Girls Club celebration in the afternoon. Please have them keep costumes and any treats in their backpacks to change and bring out only once they get to the Club. Thanks for partnering with us on this!

It has been a great week at TPS, with each of our multi-age groups getting a field day at Yard Dogs Farm, the farm of our amazing arts specialist Ms. Sara. The weather was gorgeous, and everyone worked hard to create a safe and fun environment! This was a wonderful way to head into fall break. TPS families, please remember that there is no school tomorrow (Friday, October 1) because of a previously scheduled conference day. And that on Monday, October 4 we begin our 2-week fall break. We wish everyone a break that is peaceful, joyful and safe. We look forward to seeing everyone again on Monday, October 18!
Hello TPS Community – please check your email as soon as possible for an important piece of information about a water leak in the Main Building. Thank you!

The waitlist for the current school year is on our website, and remains open for the whole of the year. Families adding names of children on the waitlist will be added in the order they are received. We currently have particularly short waitlists for our middle school grades (6-8). If you know members of the community who are interested in exploring middle school in this current year, please encourage them to add their child’s name! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd3LWBXKGDi5nmspLEkcIzk5oTM8yT9UlD-99b_s2W0oTomDw/viewform

TPS Families -- we have updated our quarantine protocols for unvaccinated individuals following COVID exposure. They have been recommended by the CDC and the IDOH, and have been approved by our School Board. They will be shared in tomorrow's Update, and can also be found on our website in our COVID Updates Drive. We hope that all TPS families – especially those with unvaccinated individuals in the household – will study these carefully, and partner with us to keep everyone safe! https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1510730/_return_from_quarantine__decision_tree_for_unvaccinated_2021__updated.pdf
Happy Friday, TPS! Please note a small tweak for Friday pick-up: Main Building line-up may begin at 1p, and TPS2 may begin at 1:10p. Please do not line up earlier than these times. These adjusted Friday times will allow all our middle school students to finish their lunch!
TPS families – communication has been sent via email to all families regarding a positive COVID diagnosis in our school community. If you did not receive a phone call earlier today, your child is not considered a close contact. Please read the communication in your in-box as soon as possible. Thank you for partnering with us to keep our entire community safe.
