Our tremendous thanks to TPS parents Melody Lynch-Kimrey and Michael Weinman, and TPS teacher Ishika Sinha, for spearheading International Night last week. They did such a wonderful job organizing inspirational and joyful learning experiences. Our gratitude to all the IU international centers and museums who shared their time and expertise with us. Huge props to our International Night Passions Class students for creating a stunning welcome station. And our very special thanks to the Duncan family for organizing their own family display (a great model for other families for future years!), and for donating the amazing raffle basket of Jamaican goodies! The winner of the basket has been notified. Our thanks to everyone who purchased raffle tickets – together we raised $180 that can be used for future international learning. We are so excited about International Night tonight, from 6-8p -- we will have 10 exciting global stations to explore! Remember that we also have an amazing Tastes of Jamaica raffle basket... tickets are $10 or 3/$20 (check, exact cash, or TPS mobile app). Hope to see you there!

TPS is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts, and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. Visit Art to Remember and enter the online order code shown on your child's order form (which you should have received), or search for your child's artwork. Then, have fun shopping! Payment deadline for free shipping to TPS is November 10. After that, loved ones can still order until December 29, but will only have the option to ship their orders to their homes and pay a shipping fee. A quick reminder that tomorrow (Thursday, October 26), we'll be doing school photos for all of our Intermediate and Middle School students, as well as any of our Primary students who were absent today and missed their scheduled day. Our thanks to everyone who joined us tonight for our International Potluck & Performances! It was such a special evening, filled with delicious food and amazing music. The perfect way to head into our extended fall break, beginning with our conference day tomorrow. Remember, there is no school tomorrow (Friday, October 6), and then we are on break for the following two weeks. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Monday, October 23!
TPS Families, tomorrow (Friday, October 6) is our scheduled Fall Conference Day (no classes), and then we head into our extended Fall Break. We wish all of our students, families and staff a joyful, safe and healthy 2 weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone back at school on Monday, October 23!
Primary families & staff, we are YES for Field Day today! It may be a bit wet, but there is no dangerous weather forecasted. If danger were to suddenly come on, all will be safe in the barn. If we decide to shorten the day due to increased chance of afternoon showers, we will text. If families then cannot arrive early for pick up, remaining kiddos will again be safe in the barn. Please have kiddos dress for the weather!
